4 cups of pasta (two of medium shells and 2 elbow)
4 Tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ cup milk (if too dry add in a bit more while baking
½ teaspoon Tony Chachere’s (in the spice isle)
8oz block Colby Cheese cubed (you can use shredded)
8oz block of Mozzarella Cheese cubed (you can use shredded)
Add in another cup or more of cheddar if you like it cheesy!
½ cup cottage cheese
½ cup sour cream
Preheat oven to 350*. Bring water to boil. Add in ½ teaspoon salt in water Add in all pasta cook until done, 8-10 minutes.
Spray a 9×13 pan with pam. Place all ingredients in the pan and stir. Drain pasta and add to pan with all other ingredients. Stir and place in the oven. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until bubbly. I stir my occasionally while baking to keep it cooking, add in more milk if you think it is too dry. This is not a real creamy Mac and Cheese like out of the box.
You can also add in sausage or ham if you like. Cook meat before adding and add it in before baking, this gives it a great flavor.
Add more salt and pepper to taste.
