1 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup white vinegar
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 Tablespoons French’s mustard
1 teaspoon celery seed
Mix ingredients together very well in shaker or mason jar.
3 large heads of Boston lettuce
1-2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
1 large red onion sliced thin
Prepare dressing and marinate onion sliced in dressing overnight. Next day drain mandarin oranges. Combine salad leaving a few oranges left for decoration. Serve and enjoy. You can add a meat to this salad for a little extra protein.
